Submit Your Manuscript
We are actively acquiring bold, voice-driven fiction for our Q4 2025 slate. Review the complete guidelines below and share the project you are ready to bring into the world.
What We're Seeking
Sky Scrawl champions high-impact narratives that balance literary ambition with irresistible plotting. We especially welcome submissions from emerging and underrepresented voices.
- Literary fiction with ambitious craft and emotionally resonant stakes.
- Speculative fiction and solarpunk narratives that lean on rigorous, hopeful worldbuilding.
- Psychological thrillers and suspense with bold structural experimentation.
- Narrative-driven science fiction with a research-forward approach to futurism.
- Select narrative non-fiction projects that read with the propulsion of a novel.
Manuscript Formatting
These standards keep the reading experience smooth for our editorial board. Submissions that do not follow the checklist may be returned for revision before review.
- Manuscript saved as a single PDF or DOCX file — no Google Doc links.
- Use a serif font (Garamond, Georgia, or Times New Roman) at 12 pt, double spaced, with 1-inch margins.
- Include title, author name (and pen name if relevant), word count, and genre on the cover page.
- Number all pages using the header (Author Last Name / Book Title / Page #).
- Chapter headings must be formatted consistently and begin on a new page.
- If submitting series work, include a one-paragraph synopsis for subsequent installments at the end.
