In the publishing industry, there is a term called the "cliff." It usually happens 14 days after launch, when the algorithm moves on to the next shiny object.
Ecliptus refused to jump.
We promised to be transparent about our numbers. So here is the reality: For the last five months (October 2024 – February 2025), Ecliptus has remained a fixture in the Amazon India Hard Science Fiction Top 100, fluctuating between Rank #40 and #88.
Why This Matters
To the casual observer, #40 might not sound like a headline. But in a category dominated by legacy franchises and movie tie-ins, holding a Top 100 spot for 20 consecutive weeks is the definition of a Cult Classic.
It means Ecliptus isn't being bought because of a hype cycle. It is being bought because you are recommending it.
October Post-Launch: Stabilized at #42.
December Holiday Rush: Held strong at #65 amidst major traditional releases.
February Status: Currently charting at #58.
