A Message from Ishan Sharma
"We are building Crack Code to be a correction.
For too long, the story of the 'Indian Engineering College' has been filtered through the lens of cinema—polished, romanticized, and sanitized. We wanted to write the version that actually happened.
Semester 1 is not about grand victories. It is about the tyranny of the July sun. It is about the specific architecture of a lecture hall that feels like a courtroom. It is about the 'Latecomer's Gambit'—that silent calculation every student makes when they are five minutes late to a class they cannot afford to miss.
You will meet Ishwaak, Gargi, and the rest of the cohort not as heroes, but as participants in a system that demands conformity. We explore the friendships that form in the back rows of labs, the chaos of Divyant’s birthday, and the realization that the hardest part of engineering isn't the curriculum—it's the politics of being seen.
We look forward to sharing this file with you in January."
