Kyra Dhillon has advanced the Aurora Commons outline into full scene planning. This update recaps what’s finished, what’s in motion, and when readers can expect the next look-in.
Where The Draft Stands
July’s focus centred on tightening the story bible. Kyra met with editors to stress-test the central conflict, confirm the episode structure, and make sure every scene pushes the community arc forward.
She also refined character motivations—especially how residents negotiate power outages, resource sharing, and conflicting priorities. Those notes will guide the first-draft pass scheduled for autumn.
Once the opening chapters land, readers on the newsletter list will receive a simple progress email—no elaborate campaign, just honest updates and an invitation to give feedback when sample pages are ready.
